Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Halifax, UK

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children with various special educational needs (SEN).
  • Work collaboratively with SEN teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for learning.
  • Engage with children using appropriate communication techniques.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of students.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant within an SEN setting.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by children with complex needs.
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification is preferred.
