We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide invaluable support to our students. As a crucial member of our team, you will work collaboratively to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer tailored support to students with a range of SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies.
  • Build positive relationships with students, fostering their social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the individual needs of learners.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training.
