SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a full time SEN Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Hackney, to start in September. This is an ongoing role and will possibly become permanent after completing a successful trial period of a term.

The school is based in Hackney borough, East London. This is a great, modern school with a very good leadership and dedicated team and is very popular locally.

The Role

The Headteacher is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in class with pupils with a variety of special needs and learning needs. You will be working with a number of pupils throughout the day, 121,small groups and working alomngside teachers in class. You will also be working as a general Teaching Assistant at times, when the students are working independently, whilst being on-hand in case they require some additional support.

You should be very reliable and conscientious about work, a great team player, flexible and adaptable.

The hours for the role are 8.00am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The salary for this SEN Teaching Assistant role will be £90 per day and the role is full time, term time only.
