We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work full-time at a fantastic primary school in Margate to start in as soon as possible.

The school is in a great location which is easily accessible via bus.

About the role:

Our teaching assistants’ duties can include:

  • Good working knowledge of speech and language issues

  • Good working knowledge of autism

  • An understanding of children with SEMH (including an understanding of attachment and trauma theories)

  • Proven track record of being able to work within a team supporting children who have challenging behaviour.

  • Resilience and the ability to work flexibly

The ideal applicant will have:
  • Experience of working with children with SEN

  • A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils

  • Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
