Link3 Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant required to start work in our Secondary schools in NG8 Nottingham (Immediate start).

We are looking for a passionate and energetic SEN Teaching Assistant who is committed to providing the highest quality childcare and education for special needs children in Nottingham.

Job Details:

This SEN Teaching Assistant position is a full-time and permanent role, starting immediately.

We require a skilled and creative SEN Teaching Assistant who will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humor, and the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.

To be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

  • Hold a minimum level 2 Education, Childcare, Early Years, or Teaching and learning qualification
  • Have previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or within an SEN provision
  • Have a good understanding of the curriculum
  • Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
  • Have a passion for working with children.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
  • Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.

Essential Requirements:

As a minimum, all applicants must have:

  • a minimum level 2 Education, Childcare, Early years or Teaching and learning qualification
  • a minimum of 3 months experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or within an SEN Provision.
  • A positive approach to child development, managing behaviour and be passionate about your subject which is evident in your teaching.
  • Applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks and should hold current DBS check registered to the update service.
