Location: Across Kent

Contract Type: Full-time OR Part-time (day to day supply)

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant? We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide essential support within the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Individualized Assistance: Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN), on a one-to-one basis.
  • Classroom Support: Assisting teachers during lessons, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Behaviour Management: Implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: You must have recent or previous experience in supporting students with SEN or learning disabilities. This includes working one-to-one with students in a classroom setting.
  • Empathy and Patience: A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of students.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant qualification in education, special education, or related field is desirable but not essential.
