SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN TA | Year 1 | September Start | Hackney

Great opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Hackney primary school to start this September for a long term role for the rest of the academic year.

The SEN Teaching Assistant role will mostly involve working 1:1 within the KS1 Team of the school

• 1:1 SEN Role with autistic child in a Year 1 Class
• High needs child personal care might be required
• Kind and empathetic individual needed
• Long Term SEN role for the whole academic year to start this September
• Join a fantastic KS1 team and benefit from a supportive environment

This role would suit SEN Teaching Assistants with a passion for working with young children with additional needs.

Previous experience working with high needs children is beneficial to the role but not essential. Applicants should have good knowledge of special educational needs and experience working with SEN children in a school or nursery previously.
