A small one-form entry Catholic Primary school in Dagenham are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school for the summer term to provide 1 to 1 support.
The Role
In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be supporting a pupil in year 3 with SEMH needs. The child can find being in class quite challenging and will sometimes leave unexpectedly. The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is active and able to support the child if he leaves a lesson and is able to de-escalate situations and support the child to return to class. The school is well-resourced to support children with SEN and you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to plan and specific interventions and provide assessment feedback.
This role is offered on a contract basis from April 2024 to July 2024.
