SEN Teaching Assistant

A wonderful, Ofsted rated Outstanding Primary School in Tower Hamlets is looking for an exceptional SEN TA to work 2:1 with a Y3 child.

This full-time role commences after Easter until July.

This specialised SEN role supporting a child with another adult may suit a candidate from a caring background or a psychology graduate looking for school based experience. Someone who is Team Teach trained would be ideal although not essential.

Pay rates of between £85 - £110 are being offered.

About the role:

As the successful SEN TA, you will be working with an experienced HLTA to support a child in Y3. He uses a core board for communication and has some speech.

You will not be expected to restrain the child although if you were Team Teach trained it would be helpful.

You will be supporting him with the HLTA in the morning and work somewhere else in the afternoon either in a classroom or SEN provision.

Key Responsibilities include:
