Holden Knight Education Ltd are seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in and around Guildford. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of students with special educational needs, and helping them reach their full potential. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, implementing educational programs, and providing support to students.

Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives.
- Provide instruction in various subjects, such as Maths, English, Science, and more.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance.
- Utilise effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning.
- Collaborate with other Teachers to develop educational materials and resources.
- Monitor student behaviour and implement behaviour management techniques when necessary.
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs or learning difficulties.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and diversity.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid enhanced DBS on update service.
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in proofreading and editing educational materials.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
- Familiarity with childcare regulations and best practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is a plus.
