Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30pm

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact primary student education? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a primary school in Sheffield. The role will involve working with students with SEN on a 121 and small group basis.

Key Responsibilities:

As SEN Teaching Assistant your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Individual Support: Offer one-to-one assistance for students who require additional help.
  • Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Assist in the assessment of students' progress and contribute to written reports.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the teaching team, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development of students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and the well-being of students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, with the working hours from 8:30 am to 3.30pm.

Location:

The position is based in Sheffield, providing a convenient and accessible location for both residents and commuters.
