Classroom Support is delighted to partner with a Primary school in High Barnet, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team starting immediately. This role offers a long-term commitment extending into the next academic year, operating on a consistent long-term supply basis.

Position Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll embark on a fulfilling journey beginning with a long-term temporary role, with the potential of transitioning to a permanent position after a specified period working through Classroom Support.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting children with challenging behaviours.
  • Ability to establish meaningful connections with pupils who struggle to engage.
  • Previous experience in Mainstream or SEN school settings is advantageous.
  • Firm yet compassionate approach to handling challenging situations.
  • Experience supporting children with ASD or ADHD is beneficial.
  • Availability to commit to working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS with a children's barred check, registered on the update service.
