SEN Teaching Assistant - West Didsbury

Tradewind are currently searching for compassionate teachers, like yourself, to teach in one of Tradewind's esteemed primary schools in West Didsbury. This full-time, long-term position is for an Early Years Teaching Assistant and is set to commence ASAP for one academic term with the possibility of extension for the next academic year.

The daily rate is between £84 - £95 per day, dependant on experience.

About you:

The successful Teaching Assistant will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-achieving class. Additionally, you will collaborate with the class teacher to support the academic progress of children with additional needs, both in group settings and one-to-one.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment
• Providing individualised support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum
• Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials and organising resources for lessons
• Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
• Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent references showcasing previous experience in KS1/KS2
• Full employment history
• The legal right to work in the UK
