SEN teacher

Are you a SEN Teacher looking for a new role in Haringey? Or are you a mainstream teacher with a love for the world of special educational needs?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join an all-through SEN school in Haringey. You will be working with 4-19 year olds with various SEN and disabilities. This is a full time, long-term role starting in September.

As a SEN teacher you will be responsible for the below:

• Planning and delivering lessons whilst assessing progress
• Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions
• Support behaviour by following the children's plans
• Updating and setting targets for children.
• Working alongside the SENCO and other professionals in the support network

To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need :

• QTS
• Knowledge of, or previous experience working within complex needs or SEND
• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
