Engage Education is currently working with a rewarding but challenging alternative provision based in Pontefract that is urgently seeking a caring and enthusiastic teacher for supply teaching to start ASAP.

The school caters to students with a wide range of needs including SEMH & ADHD, It caters to students across the secondary phase.

Their aim is that every student has access to a curriculum that values each individual; nurturing them to develop their communication, social, emotional, academic, and vocational skills. The school believes that through collaboration, celebration, and challenge, that their students can be given every opportunity to succeed.

About the role:

The right SEND Teacher will have the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status, 6 months previous SEND experience
• Ability to adapt tasks to meet the needs of individual children
• Effective behaviour management skills
• Effective communication with members of internal staff, including SENCO
