Special Educational Needs Teacher

Job Type: Full-time/Supply

Location: Bridgend, Wales

Salary: From £157.66 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Our clients School is at the forefront of special education, committed to high standards and inclusive learning. We are seeking passionate and qualified teachers to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), on a full-time or ad-hoc supply basis.

Day to Day of the role:

Plan and deliver engaging, relevant, and differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND, adhering to the Curriculum for Wales.

Collaborate with a multi-professional team to create a motivating learning experience.

Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Continuously assess and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Contribute to the school’s culture of high expectations and inclusive education.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching children with SEND, preferably in a special school setting.

Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the Curriculum for Wales.

Positive, flexible, and creative approach to teaching.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development.
