Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a experienced Teacher to join this lovely, family feel autism base in Camden starting in September 2024. This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The School:

This Primary Schools' Resource Base for Autism, is for primary aged children with autism. The school is rated Outstanding and is part of a larger Federation commissioned and funded by Camden LEA.

The Resource Base for Autism moved into a newly renovated site at in 2017. The new site has now expanded to full capacity, meaning we now offer 56 places for children with autism in Reception, Key Stage One and Two pupils with autism, who are working at academic levels which are below national expectations for their age.

Every pupil is an individual with their own strengths and needs, and this supportive Resource Base for Autism provides high quality, personalised learning to meet the needs of every pupil.

As a SEN teacher you will be responsible for the below:

· Planning and assessing pupils with Autism.

· Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.

· Support behaviour by following the children's plans

· Updating and setting targets for children.

· Working alongside Speech and Language Therapist

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

· Full QTS

· Previous experience working within SEN ideally Autism

· An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

· Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

· Legal right to work in the UK
