We're currently seeking a dedicated SEN teacher to join our team, focusing on ASD students at the secondary level. This full-time position offers an immediate start, with the possibility of continuation into the next academic year.

About the Role: As an SEN teacher for ASD secondary students, you will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each student. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons specifically designed for students with ASD
  • Collaborating with support staff and professionals to implement effective interventions
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Setting and updating individualised targets for students with ASD
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to SEN education

Requirements: To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience working with students with ASD, preferably at the secondary level
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and satisfactory professional references
  • A comprehensive CV detailing your relevant experience
  • A passion for supporting the educational needs of students with ASD
