Year 9 Class Teacher - KS3

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Year 9 SEN Class Teacher to join our dedicated team With a school committed to supporting students with special educational needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who has experience working with children with a range of disabilities and is adept at adapting teaching materials and strategies to meet individual needs.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and lead Year 9 curriculum  lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students.
  • Assess student progress and adapt lessons to support their physical and social-emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage with students to foster a love for physical activity and healthy living.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with SEN children is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in Year 9 or related fields.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational experience.
