SEN Teacher
We are seeking a talented and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at a specialist ASD school. Our school provides high-quality education and support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related conditions, and we are committed to helping our students achieve their full potential.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that are tailored to the individual needs of your students, using a range of teaching techniques and resources to support their learning. You will also work closely with other members of the teaching team, as well as with therapists and other professionals, to ensure that our students receive the best possible care and support.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with children with ASD and a solid understanding of the unique challenges that they face. Applications are welcomed from mainstream staff from either primary or secondary background as the school has a superb record of supporting this transition.
Class sizes are between 7-15 and fully supported by a minimum of 1-2 TA's per class. The school day is shorter here and staff are well treateda nd enjoy a balanced work / home life.
