We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a school in Effingham, Surrey, that is committed to providing exceptional education and support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality, tailored education to help shape the future of these students.
Day to day of the role:- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with ASD and SEMH needs, ensuring that each student’s learning style is accommodated.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the curriculum to meet the specific needs of the students.
- Create individualised learning plans, set achievable targets, and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide comprehensive support to students.
- Must hold a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Relevant knowledge and experience working with pupils with ASD, SEMH, and PDA profiles.
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of students with special educational needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to enhance student outcomes.
