Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher with a strong commitment to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our fantastic school in the Hillingdon area.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in providing support to primary school students with ASD. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the diverse needs of children with ASD, catering to both low and high functioning individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students with ASD.
  • Implement effective strategies to support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, parents, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting a sense of belonging and confidence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEN experience.
  • Specialization or additional training in ASD support is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working with both low and high functioning ASD students.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
