Randstad are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support alternative school settings in Bradford this school year.

We work with outstanding and highly rated schools in Bradford who are looking for positive and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work with students with learning difficulties, Autism, SEMH and related needs. The schools need people who are nurturing, compassionate and hard working- in this role the more you give the more you get back!

Main Responsibilities

• Working 1:1 and in small groups with students
• Supporting the general well being of learners within the structure of the school
• Achieving the highest possible levels of progress and achievement for all pupils at the School.
• Supporting the Senior Leadership Team in creating lasting improvement in the quality of provision through supporting teaching, learning and assessment with professionalism and high expectations.
• Developing systems to ensure all key performance indicators can be measured appropriately on a regular basis.

Skills , Qualities , Experience

• Good communication skills
• Experience of working with young people, preferably within a school environment
• Willingness to undertake training as required to fulfil role
• An understanding of national developments in the area of SEND
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
