  • Age Group: We cater to pupils aged 5 to 19 years.
  • Diverse Needs: Our students have a wide range of additional needs, including severe learning difficulties, autism, and EHCP.

Your Role: As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in empowering our students to thrive. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  1. Individualized Support: Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational, social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
  2. Integration: Ensure that pupils can integrate as fully as possible into classroom activities alongside their peers.
  3. Progress Monitoring: Help students make progress by running specific programs and activities tailored to their individual learning and social needs.
  4. IEP Implementation: Collaborate with class teachers and our SENCo to implement targets from Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  5. Resource Creation: Modify resources and materials to support student learning, including worksheets, games, and visual prompts.
  6. Inclusive Environment: Contribute to maintaining an inclusive learning environment across the entire school.
  7. Feedback and Reporting: Regularly provide feedback to the SENCo and outside agencies on student difficulties and progress.
  8. Annual Reviews: Participate in annual reviews by writing brief reports and attending meetings.
