SEN (SEMH) Teacher

We working with a fantastic provision in Chichester who are looking for the right individual to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children with Social and Emotional Needs, and able to teach KS3/KS4. The organisation follow a Therapeutic Approach. A strong sense of behaviour management is important.

• A variety of subjects with students with SEN (SEMH)

• You would be in the one School ASAP, Full time.

• Working with students who have challenging behaviour, attachment and trauma.

• This is a setting where having a calm, nurturing and empathetic nature is key

• Some experience within SEND / SEMH preferable not a necessity

• Passionate about supporting students and their social and emotional journey

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Driving License

• Flexibility, enthusiasm and motivation to deliver great lessons

• Understanding of SEMH

• Understanding of Secondary Curriculum

• Behaviour management skills

• An ability to adhere to and implement schools’ various policies

5. You will have your own dedicated consultant, who is fully-trained to answer all your questions and provide ongoing support and guidance.

6. We will also invite you to our CPD training sessions, which are delivered by our in-house team of former senior leaders, and are entirely free to attend!
