Job Title: SEN Secondary Teacher

Location: Hackney, London

Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-time)

Salary: £170 - £220 per day (D.O.E)

We are currently looking for an SEN Teacher to work within a well respected and supportive SEN School in Hackney, East London. The school are looking for someone who can fit into their fun dynamic team, this person will need to be confident and comfortable proving children with extra care. To ensure they are supported correctly.

Being able to manage challenging behaviour and have general classroom management is paramount as this allows for a more productive learning environment for the pupils, within the classroom You will be working with a variety of pupils who will differ in ability, so this means that the teacher must have the ability to differentiate their lessons to suit the needs of all pupils. We encourage ECT to also apply for this role.

You will be tasked with teaching KS3 & KS4 students who are learning at various levels. Experience across key stages 1 through 4 would be ideal but not essential.

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Have experience working with SEN students (desirable)
• Have experience teaching/planning/reporting core subjects.
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/Police checks

Each candidate will be subject to a DBS and police check where required. A successful candidate will also provide at least two references from their previous employer/s.
