Are you an experienced science teacher with an interest in SEN? Do you want to work in a classroom where you can inspire vulnerable children to learn about the world?

A fantastic SEN school in Swindon that caters for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic science teacher to join their team full time in September 2024.

This is a small setting for children who have a range of mental health difficulties, including trauma, behaviour needs and emotional challenges, alongside other additional needs such as Autism and ADHD. You therefore need to be flexible and collaborative in your approach to teaching, with a big emphasis on practical lessons, and inclusivity.

As a Science Teacher at this SEMH setting, you will play a crucial role in fostering a love for science in each pupil, and help support their academic and personal growth. This is a new and exciting setting where no school day is ever the same!

There is the opportunity to take on a TLR for the right teacher, as well as other opportunities to develop within the school. The school require QTS and are happy to take on an SEN Science Teacher that hasn't worked in an SEN setting before. NQTs are also welcome and encouraged to apply.
