Lancashire Teaching Agency / Reed Education are seeking a Day Support worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the care sector, a passion for improving the lives of others, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance to the individuals in a residential service setting.

• Develop and implement person-centred care plans to meet the individual needs and goals of each service user

• Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and dressing

• Implement therapeutic activities and programs to promote physical and mental well-being

• Provide emotional support and companionship to service users

• Monitor and record service user progress and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate parties

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for service users and staff members

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a high standard of care is provided to service users



Requirements:

• Previous experience working within the care sector

• Knowledge of person-centred care and therapeutic activities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
