We are seeking an Music Teacher who is passionate about supporting children with complex needs and helping them succeed within a supportive and collaborative environment. This is an immediate opportunity to join an excellent SEMH school in Bromley, where you will be part of an outstanding management team, focusing on putting the children and young people at the heart of your lessons. The ideal candidate will have QTS, a passion for working with students with additional needs, and be comfortable teaching across a range of ages.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Music lessons to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).
  • Create a safe, respectful, and resilient learning environment that encourages student growth into purposeful young adults.
  • Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and encourage independent learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a supportive working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to foster a strong community focused on student success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience working with SEMH or in a similar SEN setting.
  • Ability to deliver engaging lessons in English and potentially other subjects.
  • Creative and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills.
