Become an integral part of our dynamic educational team at our highly-regarded school in Windsor, Berkshire. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in implementing innovative educational strategies tailored for students with special educational needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Guide students with diverse needs-including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND)-towards achieving both their individual and collective goals.

  • Personal Mentorship: Serve as a reliable mentor, offering unwavering support through educational and personal challenges with sensitivity and understanding.

  • Program Delivery: Lead the development and implementation of compelling learning programs that ignite a passion for learning in students.

  • Activity Coordination: Organise and execute engaging activities that stimulate student potential and foster a love for continuous learning.

  • Extended Engagement: Participate in an enriching journey beyond the traditional school hours, enhancing every opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Educational Qualifications: Hold an NVQ2/NVQ3 qualification, demonstrating your dedication to educational excellence.

  • Experience: At least one year of experience as a teaching/learning assistant or similar role, proving your capability to inspire and engage students.

  • Communication Skills: Employ outstanding communication skills to foster collaboration and effectively address challenges.

  • Passion for Special Needs Education: Show a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students with special needs, helping to reveal and nurture their unique abilities.

  • Adaptability: Adapt teaching methods to meet the varied needs of students, ensuring accessible and inclusive education for all.
