Role: SEN Learning Assistant 
Location: South London
Hours: 4 days pw 8:45 - 4:45pm
Salary: £90- £100pd
Duration: Temporary ongoing (until approx. June 2024)

Reed Further Education are currently seeking an SEN Learning Support Assistant who has experience to provide support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities. 

The SEN Learning Assistant Assistant Role:

• Supporting learners with mild-moderate learning difficulties

• Supporting with reading, scribing, wellbeing, encouragement and motivation

• Creating and reviewing SMART goals

What the Learning support assistant will Need:

• Previous experience supporting in an Education setting

• Previous experience SEN/Challenging Behaviours experience (PMLD & SEND) 

• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent 

Learning Coaches support in different areas:

• Communication Difficulties - BSL/Makaton

• PMLD & SEND (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome etc.)

• Personal Care & Manual Handling (hoisting, toileting etc)
