Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Special Needs Teacher to join our team from September 2024. This is a full-time, permanent position. As a KS2 special needs teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, creating individualized learning plans, and fostering a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of students with special educational requirements.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Champion the well-being and development of every child.

   Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to making a difference.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Experience with assistive technology and sensory resources.
  • Passion for promoting inclusion and celebrating diversity.
