Reed Education are looking for SEN experienced Teaching Assistant's to start at an SEMH school for Easter Term.

  • Job Type: Long-term supply - to start 15th April
  • Salary Range: £85 - £105 per day - Monday to Friday Term Time
  • Location: Guildford

We are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) SEN (Special Educational Needs) school in Guildford. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for supporting students with additional needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs, ensuring they receive the attention and care required to thrive academically and socially.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement tailored strategies for individual students, adapting to their unique learning styles and requirements.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages students to engage and participate.
  • Support students in developing their social and emotional skills, contributing to their overall well-being and personal growth.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of personalized education plans, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people and making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A collaborative team player who can work well with other professionals to deliver the best outcomes for students.
