SEN Experienced Supply Teachers

Do you have experience working with SEN children, with classroom/school based experience? If you do, we would love for you to join us here at Tick Education LTD to work in daily and long term supply, with our client schools in and around Luton, including Dunstable and Houghton Regis.

SEN(D) needs are on the rise in the UK and mainstream schools are needing additional support, particularly in supply; needing teachers and teaching assistants who have experience in and the ability to work with children with SEN needs.

Many schools are seeing an increased uptake of SEN children, with specialised schools having long wait times for children to join.

Here at Tick, we work tirelessly to support our schools in all aspects of staff needs and want to be able to support them with any SEN(D) staffing needs.

Requirements for SEN experienced supply teachers:

  • Qualifications in SEN(D) learning
  • Experience working in schools/classrooms with SEN children
  • Patient, caring and empathetic qualities to ensure positive relationships with children
  • An understanding of SEN needs and how to support these

Desirable qualities for SEN experienced supply teachers:

  • To hold a UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for work, including Dunstable, Houghton Reis and central Luton
  • To be prepared to travel to schools requiring SEN staff
  • To be open to daily, long term and permanent opportunities with schools
