Are you keen on working with children with special needs in Education but worried you might not have enough experience? Are you looking to work in a primary school that can offer SEN training?

Tradewind are very lucky to be working alongside a brilliant mainstream primary school based in Westminster, who are on the search for eager SEN Teaching Assistants to support in their Early Years department.

About the school:

About the role:

  • Full-time (Monday to Friday)
  • Long-term commencing ASAP (until at least July 2024
  • You will be required to support groups of up to 6 children with mild and moderate learning difficulties
  • Pupils will be ages 4 - 5 years
  • Incorporate the EYFS curriculum and "learning through play"
  • You may be required to lead intervention group sessions
  • Work 1:1 with pupils who require extra support
  • Encourage the use of visual learning materials

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 months' experience working with children
  • SEN experience / understanding is ideal but not essential
  • Confident and willing to support children with complex needs is essential
  • Must be available full-time and long-term
  • Must be available immediately
