SEN Cover Supervisor

Do you have previous experience as a Cover Supervisor? Or looking to get into a career in education? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join a secondary school in Fulham as a SEN Cover Supervisor.

Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor would be preferred however you must have experience working with children in the UK and experience working with SEN children. This role is for a secondary school which caters for children between the ages of 11-18. This is fantastic school provides a supportive, stimulating and safe environment for students to learn.

The Role:

• As a SEN Cover Supervisor you will need to encourage participation of all pupils, making sure they are engaged in their classwork
• Manage students behaviour as a Cover Supervisor
• Communicate effectively and confidently with pupils supporting them as a Cover Supervisor
• Organise and manage the physical teaching space and resources
• Create a supportive, stimulating environment and motivate pupils with their learning.
• Support permanent teaching staff by using pre-prepared materials to cover classes in their absence.

Requirements:

• Available Monday - Friday, 8:15am to 4pm.
• Able to start immediately and full time as a SEN Cover Supervisor
• Recent experience working with children in the UK
• DBS checked or willing to apply for one
• Live in Fulham or are able to commute to the area
