We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Student Support professional to join our team, providing personalized educational assistance to a Year 5 student. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and committed to making a difference in a child’s academic journey.

Day to day of the role:

Work closely with the Year 5 student to provide tailored support and individualized attention.

Assist with academic tasks across various subjects, with a focus on reading, writing, and mathematics.

Create a positive, encouraging, and nurturing learning environment to foster student confidence and engagement.

Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement strategies that address the student’s specific learning objectives.

Monitor the student’s progress and adapt support strategies to meet evolving needs.

Ensure the student’s well-being and safety during school hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience working with primary school-aged students.

Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their potential.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.

A flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt methods to suit the student’s individual learning style.

A background in education or a related field is highly preferred.
