Semi-Skilled Operative
Location: Totnes
Hours: 37-hours hours over Monday-Friday
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Contract: Temporary, 4 Months-but could be extended


Acorn by Synergie is currently searching for a Semi-Skilled Operative to work with in the maintenance team, the successful candidate will help maintain Council property and assets.


Key Responsibilities
- To undertake works as detailed on task sheets and specifications as instructed.
- Ensure all work meets relevant professional standards and to coordinate with Supervisors/Senior Specialists to ensure timely completion of work to required standards.
- Utilise time effectively and efficiently and to maintain flexibility to accommodate changing work demands, including emergency tasks.
- To accurately record time and materials used on each task.
-Adhere to health and safety procedures and ensure the correct PPE is used.
- To always maintain a professional conduct with members of the general public and our customers.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Management team
Essential Requirements
-In-date Forklift Licence
-Full British Driving Licence
-Site Experience
- Experience of basic carpentry, plastering, tiling, and small building works related to property maintenance would be an advantage
