Semi Skilled Machine Operator

First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Semi Skilled Machine Operator to join an established and growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.

What's on Offer:

• Temp (probation) to perm after 12 weeks
• Paying £14.80 per hour while under temp (probation) through agency
• Paying circa £12.50 per hour once permanent
• 39hr work week
• 4.5 day work week
• 7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm Fri
• OT 1.5x

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise. Ongoing training and development will be provided.

Duties will involve the following:

• operation of pedestal drill
• operation of fabrication cutting machines
• making use of power tools

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

• prior experience fulfilling the same role or have a college level education in fabrication
