Our client has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Accounts Person to join their team on a full-time basis.

Working in a busy team based either in Bicester your duties will include but not be limited to preparing annual accounts, statements, and tax returns.

Hours of work will consist of 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday offering £26,000 to £33,000 pa for a semi senior and up to £42,000 pa for a senior level, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Annual Accounts for Partnerships and Sole Traders;
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements for Limited Companies and LLPs;
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements for Charities and Pension Schemes;
  • Preparation of Tax Computations which are linked to the above;
  • Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships;
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns and computations;

Attributes:

  • Have a strong understanding of taxation and accounts.
  • Show comprehensive experience in a practice environment.
  • Hold qualifications in ACCA/ACA/AAT, being qualified, part qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Be able to use and have experience in Microsoft Office and bookkeeping and payroll packages including Sage, QuickBooks, KashFlow and Xero.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
