Semi Senior Accountant - Up to £32,000 - Peterborough

AJ Chambers are in partnership with a very well-established accountancy firm on their search for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their offices in Peterborough.

What will your role involve?

• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies in a wide range of industries and self-assessment tax returns
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Using cloud accounting packages such as QuickBooks and Xero. Experience is desired but full training is provided to enable you to become a certified advisor in both
• Addressing client queries and providing support when required
• Opportunity to assist with statutory audits and visiting clients onsite
• Supporting trainee members of the team to help them develop their knowledge

Experience required:

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified with experience in practice and studying or looking to study towards the ACCA qualification.
