Semi Senior Accountant | London | £28,000 - £35,000

AJ Chambers are working with an accountancy practice who has a fantastic opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their friendly firm based in Central London. This client is mainly drawn from the media and entertainment sectors, but they also provide services to other sectors.

Role:

  • Mixed audit, accounts, and tax work - the role will consist of around 20-30% Audit / Experience is ideal but not essential
  • Auditing of Limited companies
  • Preparing corporation tax computations for FRS 105 and FRS 102 Limited companies
  • Preparing company accounts for FRS 105 and FRS 102 Limited companies
  • Responsible for a portfolio of monthly bookkeeping and VAT return jobs
  • Assisting with personal tax compliance work as required
  • Training and reviewing the work of junior members of staff
  • Handling day to day enquiries and queries from clients

You:

  • Studying ACA / ACCA
  • At least 2 years’ experience of working in a medium size practice
  • Experience in working in a similar role within an accountancy practice
