Reed Practice have been engaged as a preferred supplier, to assist a national firm, listed in the Accountancy Age Top UK firms 2023, with the recruitment of an Semi Senior Accountant.

The firm have a very realistic objective, through growth without external investment, to be one of the Top 20 firms in the UK within the next two to three years, so this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accountant.

Located in their modest but thriving office in the northern part of Essex, the Semi Senior Accountant will be an essential part of a friendly team and will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective service to clientele from a wide range of sectors and sizes.

Tasks will include -

• Bookkeeping
• VAT returns
• Assisting with preparing management accountants
• Liaising with clients
• Undertaking various appropriate administrative tasks

You will gain invaluable experience through being mentored by skilled Seniors and Managers who will support you with sharing their knowledge to aid your success with your exams.

You will have the opportunity to progress through internal promotion and development, and support with professional studies.

To be considered you will have preferably studied AAT within an accountancy practice, or can show sound experience, again in practice, with a natural ability to work with computers, have effective communication both written and verbal, with an exceptional attention to detail.
