Tradewind is currently seeking a committed a graduate with experience of supporting students with additional behavioural needs to support as a Teaching Assistant for secondary schools in Trafford!

Contract Type: Full-Time (5 days a week), Temporary

Pay: £85 - £100 per day

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students at KS3, KS4, and those with special educational needs (SEN). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting small groups of students with additional needs including SEMH, ASD, behavioural needs and ADHD
  • Working collaboratively with SEN support team and the SENCO
  • Working collaboratively with the child's team around the child
  • Assisting teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and collaborate with teachers to deliver small group instruction
  • Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEND or Social, emotional or mental health needs
  • Relevant Child-based work experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and Professional references checks
  • Full CV history with all employment and education included
