Position: Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Leicestershire
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing

Payment: £84- £95 per day (Depending on qualifications and experience)

We are supporting a SEMH Setting in the Leicestershire who require support on a part time basis to work with a child on a 1:1 basis. The school has excellent SEND support for pupils with an experienced team, SENDCO to support and excellent facilities in school.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with behavioural difficulties within the classroom setting.
  • Assist the teacher in implementing behaviour management strategies and interventions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Work one-on-one with students who require additional support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualised education plans.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a valid DBS on the update service.
  • Submit a CV with full career history.
  • Provide at least two satisfactory references.
  • Hold a valid right to work in the UK.
