SEMH Teacher - September 2024
Are you a qualified teacher looking for a rewarding new challenge from September 2024? Are you passionate about removing barriers to education and inspiring young people? This award winning SEMH school are looking to add a SEMH Teacher to the team to teach small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students with social emotional mental health needs. Previous experience in this sector is desirable, however the school are happy to consider a teacher form a mainstream teaching background who has strong classroom management skills and can build positive professional relationships with students.

This school has excellent facilities and as a teacher you will have access to an abundance of resources to help you deliver lessons that will inspire and motivate students.  When you meet the leadership team you can immediately see that they want the best for their students and will do everything possible to provide young people with SEMH needs access to an outstanding education.  This role requires a QTS or QTLS teacher and the school is happy to consider teachers from either a primary or secondary background. 

Job Role:
  • Teaching small classes of students with SEMH needs.
  • Planning and delivering lessons, that stretch, engage, and inspire students who have faced barriers to education.
  • Utilising an experienced team of mentors and TA’s to ensure that needs of students are met.
  • Working in collaboration with the middle leadership to plan and develop the curriculum.
  • Ideally, teaching on of the following: Maths, English, Science or Humanities.
