Teaching Assistant Vacancy - Cardiff School

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a rewarding role in a Cardiff-based school, catering to primary-aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as those experiencing trauma, ASD, and challenging behaviour.

Key Details:

  • Location: Cardiff
  • Pupils: Up to 60 primary-aged students
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Rate: £12.82/hr (inclusive of holiday pay)
  • Contract: Term time only, with weekly pay

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role supporting children with additional needs
  • An empathetic approach with a deep understanding of the children’s needs
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour constructively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
