Security Officer

We are hiring a reliable and customer focused Security Officer to work in a world-class manufacturing site in Peterlee. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in the security sector. Duty will be 12 hours shift for both day and night. The rate is £11.50 per hour with 48 - 60 hours per week. Bank holidays rate is double time.

The security officer must have the following prerequisite set of skills:

• Must hold a valid SIA (DS or SG) and CCTV licence.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Be computer literate (Excel / Word / Outlook).
• Clear and concise communications.
• First Aid at Work (3 Days) qualification able to deal with the emergency.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Physically fit to patrol.
• Must be confident.
• Ability to work on own initiative or as a team with minimum supervision.
• Escort contractors and visitors as and when required.
• Any other duties as required or as per site assignment instructions.

Interview & screening of candidates will be held in March 2024. The successful candidate will start work on 1 April 2024.
