Role Overview:
As a Security Consultant, you will play a leading role in our Security team ensuring the delivery of projects within distinct programmes of work or across multiple workstreams. The security Business Unit provides solutions across 3 pillars - Security Leadership, End-to-End Security Enablement, and Risk, Compliance and Assurance. As a security consultant and a member of the consulting team, you will be expected to support business development by proactively identifying opportunities aligned with Net Reply's offers to existing customers.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be using your knowledge of security products, technologies and best practices as part of a project team providing solution architecture, design and implementation services to understand, normalise and document customer requirements, and identify and present viable options back to the customer
  • You will be expected to support business unit managers and senior consultants in scoping and costing proposals highlighting potential risks and contingencies and identifying the optimal team to deliver an engagement
  • Your responsibilities may cover any phase of the system development life cycle
  • As such, you should be comfortable developing and implementing low-level designs, as well as working with more senior consultants to create personalised customer security patterns, policies and procedures involving people, processes and technology
  • You may also be asked to support or manage solution delivery, test phases and solution onboarding and handover activities
About the candidate:
  • A minimum Bachelor's degree (2.1 or higher) is required in IT, Computer Science, or a Technology-related field
  • Demonstrable experience in cloud security project deliveries and ongoing refinement
  • Specialism in at least one of the below capabilities, where a formal certification is welcome, but not essential:
    • Information Protection and Governance - e.g. Microsoft Purview IP, IRM, Governance etc.;
    • Identity and Access Management - e.g. Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps;
    • Endpoint Detection and Response - e.g. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint;
    • Web Application Protection - e.g. Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
  • Experience in technical consultancy/solutions design within a technology vendor, service provider, systems integrator or management consultancy
  • Experience in Risk, Compliance and Assurance (e.g. Framework assessments, compliance and certification guidance against international information security standards such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST, CIS etc) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the security landscape (attack vectors and tools, best practices for assessment, mitigation and remediation). & Experience of solution design using a mix of single and multiple vendor components.
  • Experience in technical requirements capture, assessment and technical options proposals and knowledge of architecture disciplines (Solution/Security/Enterprise) is preferred.
