Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an experienced Securityu Assurance Consultant to undertake a long term contract.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

  • Extensive security and information assurance experience gained with MoD
  • In depth knowledge and demonstrable experience of UK MOD security policies and procedures including JSP440, JSP604 and JSP740
  • Demonstrable experience of the management of security risks
  • Familiar with the MOD security accreditation process and procedures
  • SC Cleared

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Be part of a team delivering security and consultancy services to several major Defence Digital MOD ICT programmes ensuring compliance with UK MOD policy
  • Determining and developing an appropriate security approach to projects including security accreditation
  • Providing assurance of the security approach
  • Providing security and SbD documentation and advice to support procurements
  • Providing guidance and advice for continuous security management for live services
  • Assessing and agreeing appropriate network Codes of Connection (CoCo) activities
  • Assessing and advising on security implications of live service changes
  • Managing Security Assurance Plans
  • Reviewing and advising on programme and project security documentation (RMADs, SSPs, SMPs, SyOps etc)
  • Developing, reviewing, and advising on security architecture documentation
  • Management of security risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and opportunities (RAIDO)
